FAQ's

Listed below are some common questions that I hear. If you do not find the answer you are looking for, please feel free to email me at everlastinglessons@aol.com.

01

Do you offer lessons for adults?

Absolutely. No matter what the age, a hardworking student can make excellent progress. I make sure that they build on a good foundation of theoretical understanding and use a healthy technique to achieve their goals.

02

I already know how to sing, but need some help singing the high notes. Can lessons help?

Absolutely! During your first lesson we will evaluate how much you know and then I will either take you on as a student, or will refer you to a teacher that is best suited for your needs. Any student that works hard and follows carefully designed instructions can improve.

03

I have heard that kids should not take voice lessons. Is that true?

No. Children have wonderful voices and can be taught many things about how to use their instrument in an age-appropriate and healthy way before they reach adulthood. I believe that children should learn how to experience with intelligence, and work to help them do so through lessons.

04

My child is seven. Is that too young to take music lessons?

It depends upon the child. If he or she shows interest, then progress towards excellent musicianship can be made. At this age, music is very new and fun and lessons can be geared towards basic concepts with small, but important goals. It is recommended that young children begin with a voice class and then graduate to voice lessons if they show interest.

05

When is my monthly payment due?

Monthly payments are due at the first lesson each month with a 5 day grace period. I accept check or cash.

06

What happens if I can't make it to my scheduled lesson or class time?

Let the teacher know that you will not be able to attend and spend some extra time practicing. Lessons are not rescheduled or refunded.
